Understanding Analog signals

Runway audio, Analog vs Digital, September 26, 2019, M.Creech

What is Analog and Digital?

In simple terms an Analog signals are a continual wave of data, whereas Digital signals are either a ‘yes’ or ‘no’. An easy way to describe a Digital signal would be with binary, where 1 would be ‘yes’ and 0 would be ‘no’.

A real life example of Analog vs digital in technology is a dimming light, and a traditional light. Where the traditional light would be a digital signal, where you either have ‘on’ or ‘off’. Whereas with the dimming light, it would be an Analog signal, because the light brightness can be adjusted anywhere from almost dark to really bright.

How can we use an Analog Joystick in Arduino?

How will it connect?
